People value different rooms differently. Auctions are usually good solutions to this. Idea:
1) Each roommate secretly prices how much they would pay for each room.
2) The highest payment proposed is allocated the selected room. The payments are gone down in decreasing value until everyone is assigned a room.
3) Rent is divided among the renters in amount proportional to the bids accepted.
