In the preamble (p32), I see this text:

    > WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a [SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC] and to secure to all its citizens:

That said, I don't know how constitutional amendments work in India. This text may have been amended at a later date, but the original text remains.
