Oh dear God ... I just finished this exact project this week (ok, 90% similar)[0], everything he says is true.
The insanely messy data (bathroom intergers are a mess!), the firm essentially being just a collection of smaller firms in one building, the massive issues with 'finder fees', the near endless list of VPs that have to pass anything off, the contractors not knowing anything, the 'real' employees also not knowing anything, the hosting of websites, the brokers paying for useless (to them) web-dev, it's all true! Nothing has changed in ~25 years!
