I miss the XP interface as well. Its cartoonish look buttons, animations, sounds brought a certain sense of play or joy to working on those computers I don't get now with OSX or Win 7.

Or maybe I was a wide eyed teen ager first exploring software development, Java 5-6 and NetBeans!
