Camphr provides functionality for using transformers on spaCy. The purpose of this feature is similar to spacy-transformers.
You should use Camphr in the following cases:
1. If you want to extend or combine model with pytorch (spacy-transformers is thinc-based, while Camphr is pytorch-based.)
2. If you want to fine-tune easily with CLI
3. If you want to use better token alignment algorithm (Camphr uses pytokenizations (https://github.com/tamuhey/tokenizations) to align transformers' tokens and spaCy's tokens. pytokenizations is faster and more robust than spacy-transformers' alignment algorithm)
The python notebook is hosted on google colab which will execute on free (for you) google servers. If you’re concerned about privacy probably do not upload your personal chat logs. You could also download the notebook and install resources on a machine you control. There looks like alternative datasets to test for Obama and movie dialogues
Dang, I was hoping for something newer. Model M's today are really hard to work with. It take's majority of your desk space and then you have to use one of those weird adapters that you will have to convert again to plug into most computers. I use the happy hacking boards as they're pretty solid, take up less space and still feel alright typing. Seeing the video does give me new inspiration to go back to the model m though... Thanks for sharing!
This is sad to see. I never bought one but I remember reading about the hardware when it came out. It’s really cool. I hope some makers and DIY folks can build off of these
When they announced that they wouldn't make more of them there also were some quite sad messages online - people seemed to really have identified with those.
Global warming may be slowed down to less catastrophic levels if society changes to live more sustainably, most importantly by burning less fossil fuel. Vote for political parties who support this, lobby your elected representatives to push for sustainable policies. Try to convince as many people as possible that this an issue we need to address now.
